CHICAGO – A woman alleges the Chicago Housing Authority wrongfully terminated her over false allegations.

Rhonda Barrett filed a complaint on Nov. 29 in Cook County Circuit Court against the CHA.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she was terminated after a co-worker falsely accused her of sexually harassing him. She alleges this co-worker belittled her and physically imposed himself on her, invading her personal space.

The plaintiff alleges the CHA ignored her coworker's employment history, which she alleges is "rife with verbal and physical hostility towards women in the workplace."

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages, attorney fees, court costs and other relief. She is represented by Martin M. Stack and John Lanahan in Hindsdale.
