CHICAGO – The representative of the estate of a woman who died after a liposuction and Brazilian butt lift procedure is seeking damages from a Schaumburg physician.

Yvette Vinson, administrator of the estate of Natasha Vinson, and guardian of the estate of TK, a minor, filed a complaint on Dec. 17 in Cook County Circuit Court against physician Paul C. Dillon and Paul C. Dillon MD Inc., also known as My_Enhance, alleging wrongful death, medical negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 15, Natasha Vinson underwent liposuction and a Brazilian butt lift procedure performed by the defendants. The suit alleges Vinson suffered medical complications, including fat emboli in the lungs, and died the same day.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to recognize Vinson was exhibiting cardiac and respiratory distress, failed to terminate the procedure and begin resuscitative measures, and injected fat into the patient's blood vessels.

The plaintiff seeks a judgment against the defendants in a sum in excess of the jurisdictional amount plus costs of the suit. She is represented by Timothy J. Touhy of Touhy Law Group PC in Chicago.
