Swanson Martin & Bell LLP issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.
Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) recognized Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP attorneys Anthony J. Monacoand Claire M. Whitehead for their pro bono representation of a U.S. Air Force veteran.
It highlighted Whitehead and Monaco's work on behalf of Mr. E, who was sued after being involved in a four-way car accident. After arbitration did not go well, Whitehead and Monaco negotiated to resolve the case fairly for their client. The insurance company eventually settled the case for an amount Mr. E could afford.
