Mayer Brown issued the following announcement on Feb. 11.
The 2019 edition of World Trademark Review (WTR) 1000 recognized six partners in Mayer Brown’s global Intellectual Property practice and awarded the firm a top-tier ranking in Hong Kong SAR in the Enforcement & Litigation category. The guide also ranked Mayer Brown in the following categories:
•China and SARs: Hong Kong - Prosecution & Strategy
•United States: Illinois
•International
The six Mayer Brown partners recognized for their capabilities and contributions include Michael Adams, Richard Assmus, Benjamin Choi, Gabriela Kennedy, Rosita Li and John Mancini.
Ranked as one of the top individuals in enforcement and litigation, Ms. Kennedy is described as “one of the city’s foremost authorities on alternative dispute resolution.” The guide also calls Ms. Li “a familiar face before Hong Kong courts.” Adding further strength to the team, WTR 1000 notes that Mr. Choi is a council member of the Hong Kong Institute of Trademarks.
