CHICAGO — A man is suing Alden Estates of Shorewood Inc., citing alleged negligence.

Richard Adamski filed a complaint on Feb. 15 in Cook County Circuit Court against Alden, alleging they failed to adequately care for him.

According to the complaint, plaintiff was admitted to defendant's facility in June 2017 for nursing home and rehabilitative services. He claims he developed pressure ulcers that became infected and required surgery as a result of alleged abuse and neglect he was subjected to while under the defendants' care.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and more than $50,000, plus attorney's fees and costs. He is represented by David Resis and Annabelle Borota of the Law Offices of Steven J. Malman in Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court Case No. 19-L-1710.
