Tammera Banasek and Wasif Khan will be among the featured speakers at a three-day healthcare management seminar. The two HeplerBroom attorneys will discuss the risk social media poses on claims, the use of social media as an investigative tool, and the effects of social media on litigation. The March 14-15 conference is being held at The Regency Conference Center in O’Fallon, Illinois.
Banasek, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, focuses her practice on complex medical, dental, and nursing home issues. She is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent-Rated Attorney and has been awarded a Trial Lawyer Excellence Award by Jury Verdict Reporter. She regularly speaks and publishes in the areas of medical and dental malpractice.
Khan, an Attorney of Counsel in the firm’s Chicago office, focuses his practice on the corporate and regulatory needs of healthcare professionals and nonprofit organizations. He earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2010 and his L.L.M. in Health Law in 2012 from the same institution. Khan has been named a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers.
