Court room

Polsinelli issued the following announcement on March 12.

Chambers, a leading legal industry rankings organization, recognized Am Law 100 Firm Polsinelli Shareholders Joyce G. Mazero and William A. Tanenbaum in its 2019 Chambers Global rankings with top industry recognitions.

Among the firm-wide rankings, Mazero earned recognition in the Global portion of the guide for Franchising, while Tanenbaum received recognition in the USA section for Outsourcing. The rankings in Chambers Global come on the heels of Chambers USA awarding high placements across state, practice and attorney to a total of 57 Polsinelli attorneys and 13 practices in 2018.

Chambers rankings are based on several factors, including information obtained from client interviews, submissions put forward by law firms, as well as Chambers’ own database resources. Individual attorneys are ranked on the basis of their legal knowledge and experience, ability, effectiveness and client-service in their respective practice areas. Law firm practices are ranked on quality of their attorneys, strength/depth, effectiveness and capability of the department.

“These recognitions reflect our commitment to client service and the partnerships we’ve built while navigating industry challenges,” said Polsinelli Chairman and CEO Chase Simmons. “We appreciate the valuable feedback our clients provided to Chambers and maintain a dedicated focus on meeting the growing needs of each client in the firm. We are proud of this group of attorneys who continue to present new and effective ways to do so.”

As co-chair of Polsinelli’s Global Franchise & Supply Network Practiceand a 12-year recipient of Chambers Global Franchising recognition, Mazero represents national and global product and service-based companies, structuring franchise and distribution networks, purchasing cooperatives and forming strategic alliances on behalf of clients. Pulling from her deep bench of experience in litigation and business transactions, she works to maximize competitive advantages in supply chains, leverage international relationships to increase client capital and expand opportunities and foster value among franchisors, franchisees and suppliers.

Tanenbaum’s continued Chambers Global recognition derives from his focus on technology, outsourcing, intellectual property and data law in the firm’s Tech Transactions & Data Privacy practice. He employs his background in emerging technologies to inform his strategy when assisting clients, including IT and business process outsourcing, robotic process automation and technology agreements, as well as artificial intelligence, the internet of things, and the transfer of health care-driven advances in machine learning and data analytics as leading practices to other industries. For the fourth consecutive year, Chambers ranked Polsinelli’s Healthcare Practice at the national level. The firm’s Real Estate Practice was also recognized nationally for the second-consecutive year.
