Baker & McKenzie LLP issued the following announcement on April 2.
Baker McKenzie is pleased to announce that Brandon Moseberry and Alysha Preston have been accepted into the 2019 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program and Pathfinder Program, respectively. Over the next year, Brandon and Alysha will participate in conferences and collaborative peer group projects to build relationships, and interface directly with LCLD’s top leadership.
Brandon, a partner in Baker McKenzie's Intellectual Property practice based in Chicago, advises clients on global data privacy and cybersecurity matters in the context of data privacy advisory, direct marketing, behavioural advertising, and data security incident response matters.
Alysha, an associate in Baker McKenzie's Intellectual Property practice based in New York, advises clients on intellectual property matters in the context of trademark prosecution and overall global brand management and enforcement, copyright and trademark licensing, corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructurings, and IP infringement matters. Alysha also serves as co-chair of the New York office’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
LCLD is a national organization made up of the general counsel and managing partners of the leading corporations and law firms in the country. Launched in 2011, the LCLD Fellows Program is an ambitious, highly structured initiative built to increase diversity at the leadership levels of the nation’s law firms and corporate legal departments. The LCLD Pathfinder Program is designed for diverse, high-potential, early-career attorneys at LCLD Member organizations.
Upon completion of their respective programs, Brandon and Alysha will become part of a community of more than 1,600 Fellows Alumni who mentor younger diverse attorneys, continue with their own career training, and maintain a dynamic national network.
