Ray J. Koenig III, Member in Charge of the firm’s Chicago office, is to speak at the prestigious Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s (IICLE) 62nd Annual Estate Planning Short Course on May 7, 2019 in Chicago, IL and on May 15, 2019 in Champaign, IL. Ray’s co-presentation, “Expanding the Litigator’s Toolkit: Ever-Expanding No Contest Clauses and the Growing Use of Arbitration Clauses,” will focus on why a greater frequency of estate plans are now including mandatory arbitration provisions that include fiduciaries and beneficiaries, and how to use and defend against them.

He has also been a co-presenter at numerous IICLE Estate Planning Short Courses and Elder Law Short Courses, including, “Visitation Issues in the Context of Guardianships and POA’s,” in 2018.
