Fox Rothschild LLP issued the following announcement on April 29.

Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Donna B. More, who was named to the coveted Notable Women Executives list by Crain’s Chicago Business.

This feature highlights seasoned c-suite female executives who are leading successful Chicago businesses across various industries.

More, who served as the first managing partner of the firm’s Chicago office, provides compliance, regulatory, corporate and transaction services to clients throughout the United States. Drawing on her experience as general counsel to the Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) and a prosecutor in the Northern District of Illinois and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, More has built a national practice advising clients in the highly regulated Gaming and Cannabis industries.

As the first general counsel to the IGB, More was involved in the process of legalizing gaming in Illinois and helped write the regulations governing the state’s industry today. This first-hand knowledge enables her to provide extensive insight and counsel to companies in the gaming industry regarding licensing, compliance, investigations and commercial disputes. Additionally, More helps clients comply with Illinois’ Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act and secure cultivation and dispensary licenses.

More is a former president of the International Association of Gaming Attorneys and a founder and former co-chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Gaming Practice Committee. She has been named a Trailblazer in Regulatory and Compliance work by the National Law Journal, recognized as a “Woman of Influence” by the Chicago Business Journal and was listed among Diversity Magazine’s “Women Worth Watching” in 2018.
