CLARK HILL PLC: Clark Hill Announces Promotions for 2020: 12 Senior Attorneys & Senior Counsel Become Newest Members; 21 Associates Advance to Senior Attorney

Clark Hill PLC issued the following announcement on Jan. 7.

Clark Hill announced the promotion of ten senior attorneys and two senior counsel to membership in the firm. The new members come from nine offices and represent ten practice groups. The firm also promoted 21 associates to senior attorney; those lawyers come from 12 offices and nine practices. One third of the attorneys promoted this year are women.

New Members

The firm’s new members who were previously senior attorneys, their practice locations, and practice concentrations, include:

Birmingham, Michigan

Loukas Kalliantasis is a member of the Corporate Practice whose work focuses on advising and counseling clients on a wide range of business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and general corporate representation.

Chicago, Illinois

Adam Fromm is a member of the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice whose work concentrates on securing, monetizing, and defending intellectual property assets for clients ranging from individual inventors to large corporations.

Detroit, Michigan

Scott Garbo, a member of the Construction Practice, represents developers, lenders, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals, owners, and insurers on construction projects.

Rebecca Mancini is a member of the Immigration Practice who advises clients in complex corporate immigration matters across a variety of industries including automotive, engineering, technology, health care, energy, academic, and financial services on employment-based temporary and permanent visa categories.

Brian Shekell, a member of the Labor & Employment Practice, represents clients in labor law, employment litigation, and complex class action lawsuits involving wage and hour claims and retiree health care disputes.

Grand Rapids, Michigan

Jordan Bullinger, a member of both the Education & Municipal Practices, represents school districts in the area of education law with a focus on special education and school disability law-related matters.

Lansing, Michigan

Vickie Coe is a member of both the Education & Municipal Practices who represents school districts in matters pertaining to education law, with a focus on special education and educational disability matters.

Los Angeles, California

David Taran, a member of the Real Estate Practice, advises clients in real estate, business, general litigation, and other transactional matters, including sales and acquisitions, development, construction, disclosure issues, fraud, contract drafting and disputes, entity formation, common interest developments, and corporate counseling.

San Antonio, Texas

Rachael Rubenstein is a member of the Tax & Estate Planning Practice who represents clients with the resolution of federal tax controversies and in tax planning, and employee benefits matters.

San Francisco, California

Alison Hitz is a member of the Immigration Practice whose employment-based immigration practice focuses on representing physicians and other professionals.

Adam Boland is a member of the Labor & Employment Practice who advises and defends clients in federal and state employment related lawsuits and agency claims, including actions involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination.

Washington, DC

Daniel Simon, a member of the Environment, Energy & Natural Resources Practice (EENR), focuses his representation on energy regulatory issues involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and state utility commissions.

Promoted to Senior Attorney

Clark Hill’s 21 new senior attorneys include Nicholas Papasifakis in the Tax & Estate Planning Practice and Ellisse Thompson in Litigation, both in Birmingham, MI; Adam Ansari in Tax & Estate Planning, Michael Croghan in Litigation and Michael Bregman in Real Estate, all in Chicago; and Phil Pemberton in Fidelity, Surety & Coverage and Paul Davis in Labor & Employment, both in Collin County, TX.

Other new senior attorneys include Steven Pacynski in Corporate and Stephen Campbell in EENR, both in Detroit; Bryan Brandenburg in EENR in Lansing; Autumn Moore in Labor & Employment and Armineh Yousefian in Litigation, both in Los Angeles; and Christine Green in Corporate and Sam Hornak in Litigation, both in Pittsburgh.

Rounding out Clark Hill’s new 2020 senior attorney group are Andrew Busching in Real Estate in Phoenix; Joseph Struble in Corporate and Kristina Kunz in Tax & Estate Planning, both in San Antonio; Erin Hanson in Litigation in San Diego; Matthew Brand in Litigation in San Francisco; and Derek Ross in Government & Regulatory Affairs and Julie George in Immigration, both in Washington, D.C.
