HSPRD is pleased to announce that Naiara F. Testai has joined our immigration practice group. Prior to joining HSPRD, Ms. Testai worked as an attorney at the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC), where she focused on removal defense, family immigration, and immigration relief for crime victims and survivors of domestic violence. She also supervised NIJC’s Naturalization and Citizenship Pro Bono Clinics and served at the Immigration Court Help Desk where she assisted pro se respondents at the Chicago Immigration Court.
Ms. Testai received her B.A. with honors in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and her J.D. degree from the University of Chicago. During law school, Ms. Testai volunteered with the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights where she served as a child advocate for unaccompanied immigrant children. She also volunteered with the International Refugee Assistance Project, Latinos Progresando, and NIJC. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Testai worked as a policy fellow with NIJC.
Ms. Testai grew up in Argentina and the United States and has an interest in architecture and design. She speaks Spanish, French, and Italian. HSPRD welcomes Ms. Testai to the Firm. We are confident she will contribute to the high quality legal advocacy provided by our immigration practice group.
