ROMANUCCI & BLANDIN: Managing Partner Gina A. DeBoni Named Female Executive of the Year – Consumer Services by the Prestigious Stevie® Awards

Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, a national litigation firm primarily based in Chicago, announces Managing Partner Gina A. DeBoni has been named the winner of the Female Executive of the Year – Consumer Services, 11-2,5000 employees award, in the 17th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Gina was awarded the Gold trophy, the highest level.

Gina was recognized for her work on behalf of a client whose 16-year-old daughter was murdered and was a victim of sex trafficking. Gina played an integral role in the civil litigation and led the law firm’s efforts in legislative reform, where the girl’s mother testified in front of a U.S. Senate committee, resulting in the passage of a federal law to reform practices of advertising sex trafficking victims online. Gina is also a leader and mentor of other women in law and has helped increase the gender diversity of Romanucci & Blandin in her role as Managing Partner.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run– worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards. The Stevie® Award trophy is one of the world’s most coveted prizes. Since 2002 the Gold Stevie Award has been conferred for achievement in business to organizations and individuals in more than 60 nations.

More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 180 business professionals around the world, working on seven juries.

Judge’s comments on Gina included:

“Gina has showcased a great attitude toward justice and helped the needy… As a transformational leader, and a mentor for young budding lawyers, she has demonstrated persistent efforts for the betterment of the community as well as the fight for human rights.”
