Fox Rothschild LLP issued the following announcement on Mar. 5.

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has selected Gray Mateo-Harris to join its Class of Fellows and Dominique J. Carroll and Olufunke O. Leroy to participate in its Class of Pathfinders for 2021.

“We congratulate our colleagues on their selection to this distinguished class of professionals and support their continued commitment to drive change and foster diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal industry,” said Kimberly Bullock Gatling, Fox’s Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer.

Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 300 corporate chief legal officers and managing partners who are committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.

The Fox trio join a select group of attorneys recognized for their leadership potential. More than 50 alumni of the program have become general counsel, managing partners or judges or have opened their own firms.

Now in its tenth year, the Fellows Program is an initiative designed to increase diversity at the leadership levels of the nation’s law firms and corporate legal departments. During the year-long, in-depth virtual program, Mateo-Harris, a partner in Fox’s Chicago office and regional Labor & Employment Practice lead, will have access to professional development tracks that focus on the unique needs of in-house and law firm attorneys, as well as a virtual speaker series that will highlight leadership and career development.

In the seven-month virtual Pathfinder Program, Carroll, an associate in the firm’s Princeton office, and Leroy, an associate in the Philadelphia office, will have access to an extended series of advice from various leaders and participate in informal networking events hosted by LCLD Alumni as well as in follow-up sessions on independent and peer group assignments.

Mateo-Harris, Carroll and Leroy are very active in diversity and inclusion efforts both within the firm and in their communities.

“We’re fortunate to have an extraordinarily focused and committed membership, and the Fellows and Pathfinders invariably reflect that,” said LCLD President Robert J. Grey Jr. “All of us are eager for results and will persist until we see real changes in the makeup of the leadership of the profession.”
