FOX ROTHSCHILD LLP: Fox Adds Intellectual Property Partner Adam Wolek in Chicago

Fox Rothschild LLP issued the following announcement on Mar. 15.

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome Adam Wolek to the Chicago office as a partner in the Intellectual Property Department.

“Adam works with businesses of all sizes – from startups to major corporations – to protect, defend and secure their intellectual property. We welcome him to the firm and are thrilled to have boots on the ground to serve clients in the region,” said Jeffrey L. Widman, Fox’s Chicago Office Managing Partner.

Wolek has successfully litigated and negotiated numerous patent, copyright, trademark infringement, false advertising, trade secret and business disputes on behalf of some of the world's largest companies, including those in the software, financial, wireless, agriculture and manufacturing industries. He also assists clients with intellectual property licensing as well as patent and trademark applications and counseling.

Wolek currently chairs the Copyright Committee of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago and serves as vice chair of the Federal Civil Practice Committee for the Chicago Bar Association. He is also a member of the Richard Linn American Inn of Court.

He earned his J.D., cum laude, and Certificates of Distinction in both Patent Strategies and Intellectual Property from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Wolek received his M.S. and B.S. from the University of Illinois.

Prior to joining Fox, he was a partner at Taft Law.
