NGE Intellectual Property partner Holby Abern and NGE recently received Patent Pro Bono Achievement Certificates from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for pro bono work helping financially under-resourced inventors and small businesses secure patent protection.
This is the second consecutive year Holby received this honor, and he was among the record-setting 101 volunteer patent practitioners who reported 50 or more hours of patent pro bono service in 2020 to a regional patent pro bono program. NGE was recognized for its work with the Chicago-Kent Patent Hub.
