Amy Johnson been a featured speaker at DRI’s Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute. Johnson and Rick Hammond will explore the issues and impact of public pressure and government actions on insurers when catastrophes such as civil unrest and pandemics occur. Their discussion will include strategies on how insurance carriers can ensure that claims are adjusted and fairly paid. Johnson, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, focuses her practice on insurance law, risk transfer, and property damage, as well as cybersecurity and appellate law. She has 20 years of experience mitigating risk on coverage issues and high exposure or bad faith claims, including a successful appeal record.
