Heplerbroom issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.
Nathan B. Hakimi has joined HeplerBroom as an associate attorney in the firm’s Chicago office. Hakimi focuses his practice on the defense of medical and dental malpractice, nursing home, personal injury, and professional liability matters.
He obtained his J.D. from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2017. He also holds a B.A. in Cognitive Science and Film Studies from Brandeis University. While in law school, he was Associate Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property and secretary of the Decalogue Society. He also earned numerous awards, including being a Judge Abraham L. Marovitz Decalogue Society Scholar and a Dean’s Full Tuition Merit Scholar.
Hakimi is licensed to practice in Illinois and is admitted to the bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
