Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli welcomes real estate attorney Amber L. Munday as shareholder in the firm’s Chicago office. Munday joins the firm’s national Real Estate Practice, having recently been honored as one of the nation’s top emerging attorneys by The Best Lawyers in America.
Munday, who comes to Polsinelli from Nixon Peabody, focuses her real estate practice on helping clients identify and manage the legal risks associated with leasing, buying, selling, managing and developing commercial real estate assets including retail shopping centers, office buildings, apartment buildings, warehouse/industrial sites and mixed-use properties throughout the United States.

In helping her clients navigate the legal risks associated with commercial real estate, Munday drafts and negotiates the contracts that describe the parties’ rights and obligations at a particular site, oversees diligence aimed at narrowing the unknown and coordinates with third parties to manage the closing or delivery process.

Munday has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America among its 2022 “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch,” honoring lawyers who have been in private practice for five to nine years. The Best Lawyers in America selected Munday and other honored attorneys based entirely on peer reviews for professional excellence in the legal industry.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University before obtaining a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
