Illinois State Bar Association issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.
Apply for the 2022-23 Rural Practice Fellowship Program, which is designed to connect rural and small-town law firms looking to hire law clerks and associates with law students and newer attorneys in practicing law in rural parts of Illinois.
Fellowship recipient benefits: stipend of $5,000 for law clerks, in addition to any salary paid by employer, and stipend of $10,000 for associates.
Firm benefits: assistance in identifying and hiring qualified, prescreened summer clerks and associates; access to high-quality training and support to help integrate new attorneys into your business; subsidize the salary you can pay so you can attract high-quality employees; and much more.
