Greenberg Traurig Elevates 7 Attorneys in Chicago Office

Greenberg Traurig, LLP issued the following announcement on Feb. 14.

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced the elevation of Hans Biebl, Alejandra Garcia Earley, Benjamin P. Gilford, Caitlyn E. Haller, Martin J. Lee, Lily M. McNulty, and Callie Sand to shareholder in the firm’s Chicago office.

“These seven attorneys embody Greenberg Traurig’s core values through their leadership and commitment to client service,” said Chicago Co-Managing Shareholders John F. Gibbons and Rita M. Powers in a joint statement. “We join them in celebrating this achievement and wish them continued success as they grow into their new roles.”

Biebl, a member of the Corporate Practice, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and other corporate matters. He advises private equity firms and public companies in divestitures, equity investments, joint ventures, restructurings, and recapitalizations, as well as financing transactions in public and private capital markets.

Garcia Earley, a member of the Energy & Natural Resources Practice and Corporate Practice, focuses on project finance, tax equity, and traditional private placement transactions. In her project finance and tax equity practices she specializes in structuring, drafting, and leading negotiations for all stages of infrastructure projects, from development project documents to traditional and tax equity financing agreements. In her traditional private placement practice she represents investors in bilateral, club, and syndicated domestic and international corporate and secured transactions.

Gilford, a member of the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice, focuses on a broad range of intellectual property matters, including procurement and enforcement of patent, copyright, and trademark rights, with a particular focus on patent litigation. His litigation experience covers a wide range of technology areas, including medical devices, consumer products, electronics, mechanical devices, remote controls, and sports equipment. 

Haller, a member of the Litigation Practice, defends high-profile product liability, pharmaceutical, and medical device cases throughout the country. She works on product liability matters in both state and federal courts, ranging from single-plaintiff claims to nationwide consumer class action cases. 

Lee, a member of the Real Estate Practice, represents public and private institutions, national lenders, and real estate investment funds in virtually all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, debt and equity financings, developments, joint venture formations, and leasing.

McNulty, a member of the Labor & Employment Practice, is trusted employment law and labor relations counsel to companies of all sizes. She takes pride in building relationships with clients and providing practical, strategic advice.

Sand, a member of the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice, focuses on patent litigation. Her broad technological experience includes advising on matters relating to cellular phones, medical devices, consumer products, semiconductors, and various software and information systems. She is a registered patent attorney before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Firmwide, Greenberg Traurig announced the elevation of 96 attorneys to shareholder and of counsel. In addition, the firm reported a historic $2 billion in revenue for FY 2021, a 15.8% increase over the previous year and the eighth consecutive year of record revenue.
