Barack Ferrazzano Partner, Allison N. Powers, Selected for LCLD Fellows Program

Barack Ferrazzano is pleased to announce that Compensation & Employment partner Allison N. Powers was selected as a 2022 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow. The Fellows program seeks to increase diversity at the leadership levels of the nation’s law firms and corporate legal departments.

Launched in 2011, LCLD's landmark Fellows Program is designed for diverse, high-potential, mid-career attorneys at LCLD Member organizations. The goal of the program is to provide Fellows with professional and personal development opportunities, leadership training, relationship-building opportunities, and access to other LCLD members.

Allison N Powers is a partner in the Compensation & Employment and Litigation Groups. She is a versatile employment litigator, trial attorney, and counselor who brings sophisticated experience to high-profile and “bet-the-company” matters for diverse clients across the country. Allison’s litigation practice emphasizes strategic defense of a variety of employment claims in private lawsuits and government agency enforcement actions. Allison also devotes a significant portion of her practice to counseling clients facing a variety of workplace challenges and to handling sensitive internal investigations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she has guided clients through a variety of issues, including business restrictions under state and municipal executive orders, employee screenings and safety protocols, and reasonable accommodation requests.
