As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm is pleased to welcome Partner Jonathan (JJ) Asarch to the Corporate & Securities Practice Group in Chicago and Denver.
JJ focuses his practice on private equity, strategic, financial, and healthcare transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures, while also representing clients in connection with general corporate and real estate matters. In addition, he regularly serves as outside general counsel and strategic advisor to clients.
JJ’s professional background includes experiences both in private practice and in-house (serving as General Counsel) at private and public companies and in both entrepreneurial and established settings. In addition, JJ has closed private equity, strategic, and financial deals in many industries, with substantial experience in both the healthcare and commercial real estate sectors.
JJ is part of the Benesch Healthcare+ practice. He regularly represents healthcare organizations and healthcare providers in connection with healthcare transactions, corporate practice of medicine issues, profit-sharing plans, regulatory & compliance matters, patient care matters, and revenue cycle management, payor contracts, and provider agreements. He received his J.D. from Northwestern (Pritzker) University School of Law and his B.A. from Williams College. JJ is also a 2023 candidate currently attending the University of California, Berkeley, for an online Master of Public Health degree.
