Benesch is pleased to announce that Thomas D. Jackson has been named to The National Black Lawyers Association’s “Top 40 Under 40” in Ohio for 2022. The NBL hand-selects influential lawyers who have a reputation for providing excellent legal representation and who are leaders in their respective practice areas.
The National Black Lawyers is an organization that maintains a national network of the top Black attorneys in each state. Its members are plaintiff and defense lawyers, represent law firms from across the nation, and specialize in a variety of practice areas.
Thomas is an associate in Benesch’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. He has represented employers before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Thomas’ litigation experience includes handling actions arising out of discrimination claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). He also has experience in actions arising out of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act regarding race discrimination, religious discrimination, sex discrimination, and retaliation.
