Clark Hill announced that Henry French has joined the firm as Senior Counsel in its Insurance practice group.
Based out of Clark Hill’s Chicago office, French counsels insurers and reinsurers with respect to North American general and professional liability risks and claims, claims handling, and designing effective corporate compliance programs. He also acts as an expert witness in insurance cases and is a certified reinsurance arbitrator.

French has been a senior lawyer for publicly traded insurance and reinsurance companies operating in the U.S., Bermuda, London, and European markets. His practice includes the preparation of coverage opinions in individual cases, drafting of reservation of rights letters and declination letters, and providing advice during the claims handling process.
French earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
