Siddesh ‘Sid’ Bale, vice-chair of Reed Smith’s Global Corporate Group, was named to Global M&A Network’s ninth annual Top 50 Americas M&A Lawyers list. This list spotlights 50 of the “brilliant, accomplished, and creative” transactional lawyers from North and Latin Americas.
Bale, whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, represents public and private companies and private equity funds in an array of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions (both asset and stock), divestitures, financings, fund formation, and general corporate matters across multiple industries.
In his Global M&A Network profile, Bale, who’s leadership responsibilities includes guiding the strategies of more than 300 attorneys, as well as provides leadership and mentoring to attorneys at all stages of their careers, noted that what he enjoys most about his career is “becoming more educated on a diverse array of industries, and learning from colleagues, business leaders, and other decision-makers.” Bale also stated that ‘transactions are a team sport, and I relish working together to achieve a common goal.”
