Holland & Knight advised Hub International Limited (Hub), a leading full-service global insurance brokerage and financial services firm, in its acquisition of the employee benefits assets of HORAN Associates Inc. and HORAN Smart Business LLC (collectively HORAN Health). The acquisition was announced on June 5.
The acquisition of HORAN Health will allow Hub to create a new regional hub, Hub Heartland.
Hub, headquartered in Chicago, employs more than 16,000 professionals throughout North America that provide clients with risk management, insurance, employee benefits, retirement and wealth management products and services.
Located in the Cincinnati Tri-State area, HORAN Health provides employee benefits solutions to more than 650 small and mid-size companies, serving both corporate and individual clients in 48 states.
