McGuireWoods Elects 15 Lawyers to 2024 Partnership Class

McGuireWoods elected 15 new partners effective January 1, 2024. The class spans many of the firm’s offices and covers a range of practice areas.

Kathryn M. Barber (Business & Securities Litigation, Richmond) focuses on high-stakes litigation, dispositive motions and appellate advocacy. She previously served as a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Elissa N. Baur (Government Investigations & White Collar Litigation, Richmond) concentrates on white collar criminal defense and litigation, antitrust criminal defense, regulatory enforcement defense, internal investigations, compliance counseling and cross-border investigations.

Alec Covington (Financial Services Litigation, Charlotte) represents clients in complex litigation, with an emphasis on financial services litigation and regulation, insurance coverage and business torts.

Royce B. DuBiner (Healthcare, Chicago) advises pharmaceutical, cosmetics, medical device, cannabis, dietary supplement, tobacco, and food and beverage companies and investors in such companies on regulatory matters. He has significant FDA experience and leads the firm’s cannabis, hemp and CBD practice.

Andrew F. Gann Jr. (Environmental & Mass Tort, Richmond) represents clients across industries in class actions, mass tort lawsuits, high-stakes litigation and litigation arising out of catastrophic incidents.

Kelsey R. Hitchcock (Corporate & Private Equity, Pittsburgh) advises private equity funds, independent sponsors and their portfolio companies in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, commercial transactions and corporate governance matters.

Garrett H. Hooe (Business & Securities Litigation, Richmond) concentrates on securities and breach of fiduciary duty litigation, representing some of the largest financial, agricultural, telecommunications, manufacturing and energy companies.

Anna C. Horevay (Public Finance, Baltimore) focuses on public finance with an emphasis on infrastructure financing. She partners with issuers, underwriters, developers and borrowers on financing structures, including public bond offerings.

Anthony Q. Le (Antitrust & Commercial Litigation, Century City) handles compliance issues, regulatory and enforcement matters, internal investigations, and individual and class litigation for clients in the financial services, technology, automobile and retail sectors.

Abdul-Rahman Lediju (Corporate & Private Equity, New York) advises emerging managers and investors in forming, investing in and operating domestic and cross-border private investment funds. He is heavily involved in the firm’s Emerging Manager Program.

Richard V. Lockridge (Real Estate & Land Use, Charlotte) advises clients in real estate acquisition, disposition and development projects. He specializes in leasing matters and has assisted clients in the negotiation of leases for medical, retail, office, industrial and cold storage space.

Branden P. Moore (Complex Commercial Litigation, Pittsburgh) represents clients across industries in litigation and appeals nationwide. He also has negotiated numerous settlements through mediation.

Andrew R. Parrish (Debt Finance, Charlotte) structures, negotiates and documents senior debt financing arrangements, including secured and unsecured, single bank and syndicated credit agreements, multicurrency and cross-border financing facilities, and leveraged acquisition financings. He has a specialty in sports financing.

Timothy D. Patterson (Regulatory & Compliance, Richmond) counsels clients on regulatory compliance, litigation and strategic planning for large regulated public utility and energy clients.

Heidi E. Siegmund (Labor & Employment, Richmond) defends employers and educational institutions facing litigation. She advises on compliance with federal and state laws and regulations such as Title VII, Title IX and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
