Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. recently established a presence at mHUB, an innovative technology and manufacturing collaboration space in Chicago that recently launched expanded new facilities on the city’s Near West Side.
mHUB serves as a meeting point for startups, entrepreneurs, and manufacturers in a setting intended to foster innovation and the development of creative breakthroughs in HardTech, including everything from technology to hardware to consumer products, such as batteries, quantum and edge computing, electronics and sensors, cybersecurity, nanotechnology, agriculture technologies, and medical devices. It offers access to cutting-edge resources, mentorship, and industry networks, in a unique co-working space that enhances collaboration between startups, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, investors, and industry leaders. The new location within Chicago’s Kinzie Industrial Corridor increases mHUB’s prototyping and testing facilities and office spaces to become the largest independent manufacturing innovation center in the country.
As part of the mHUB community, the Greensfelder Intellectual Property Practice Group and Manufacturing & Industrial Industry Group bring a wealth of legal knowledge and insight to the table. In the community, Kalsi and Rotman already assist small businesses at International Trademark Association pro bono legal clinics and as collaborators with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program in Chicago.
