CHICAGO – A driver has filed a negligence lawsuit against another driver, claiming that she, her children, and another passenger were injured following a rear-end collision in Chicago.
Plaintiffs Rosario Garcia, her four minor children, and Kamila Solis filed the lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court against defendant Maxim Drobit, citing allegations of negligence.
According to court documents, the complaint relates to a vehicle collision that occurred on November 26, 2021.
Rosario claims that she was driving a vehicle with her four children and another passenger, Kamila Solis. Rosario claims that she was driving northbound on W. North Avenue in Chicago when she was suddenly struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Drobit.
The complaint asserts that Drobit failed to exercise reasonable care in the operation of his motor vehicle and cites various acts of negligence, including failure to stop in a timely manner, maintain a proper lookout, control the vehicle, and operate at a safe speed.
The complaint claims that the plaintiffs sustained injuries during the collision. They are seeking damages for lost wages, medical expenses, pain and suffering, disfigurement, and emotional trauma.
