Fox Rothschild joined more than 90 leading law firms in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada in partnering with Diversity Lab to continue building a culture of inclusion for people with disabilities.
Diversity Lab, an incubator for innovative ideas and solutions that boost diversity and inclusion in law, leverages data, behavioral science, design thinking and technology to further develop and test ideas, measure results and share the lessons learned by participating firms.
Recognizing that disability inclusion is sometimes overshadowed in diversity efforts, Diversity Lab worked with its Disability Inclusion Advisory Group to create a list of 10 actions they recommend organizations take to increase inclusion and equitable access to opportunities for disabled individuals in the legal profession.
All participating firms have committed to implementing at least one of the recommended actions. Fox has committed to three: (1) removing digital barriers that prevent disabled lawyers and employees from excelling at their jobs; (2) ensuring that firm and client events are accessible to those with disabilities; and (3) conducting an annual survey of lawyers and business service professionals to (voluntarily) identify as having a disability.

Earlier this year, the firm attained Mansfield Certification through participation in Diversity Lab’s Mansfield Rule 6.0 program.
