Thompson Coburn partner Katriina McGuire was named to the 2024 list of Notable Women in Law by Crain’s Chicago Business. The annual list features women in a wide range of practices who counsel clients from small businesses to multinationals, from families to corporate boards. They also bring their experience to their communities and nonprofits outside the office, and they serve as mentors for other women in their firms.
Katriina is Managing Partner of the firm’s Chicago office. She focuses her practice on real estate land use and zoning, combining a deep understanding of technical and evolving regulations with the strong relationships she's built with zoning and economic development departments across the region. She guides clients through complex regulatory, community and political frameworks and provides a clear path to municipal land use approvals. She also leads Thompson Coburn's Women's Initiative Steering Committee.
