In the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, plaintiff Justin Scott Dawson has filed a lawsuit against United Airlines, Inc., a Delaware corporation. The case ID is 24-cv-3008 and was filed on April 15, 2024.

The plaintiff, represented by his counsel, alleges that he was wrongfully terminated from his position as a First Officer based in Houston, Texas. Dawson claims that he was fired after failing to attend a mandatory meeting on March 16, 2023, which he asserts was not scheduled or communicated to him beforehand. The damages sought exceed $75,000.

Dawson further alleges that during a meeting on March 23, 2023, attended by Ernie Aller and other company representatives, his schedule was altered to show the missed meeting. He claims this action was taken with the intent of creating grounds for his termination and tarnishing his employment record.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for monetary damages against United Airlines due to wrongful termination and damage to his professional reputation.
