Fox Rothschild is pleased to welcome Katherine Varrati Cohodes to our Chicago office as counsel in the Labor & Employment Department.
Cohodes is a strategic adviser on a range of labor and employment issues for clients in a cross section of industries, including clients in the nonprofit and education sectors.
She has extensive experience counseling on a wide variety of labor and employment issues, advising on risk mitigation strategies, overseeing internal investigations, labor relations, employee engagement strategies, collective bargaining negotiations, grievances and collective bargaining agreement administration.
Cohodes was previously in-house labor and employment counsel at a multinational machinery and construction equipment company, and in-house counsel for Dyson and for a multistate cannabis operation with cultivation, corporate and retail functions. Through these roles, she has firsthand experience with a broad range of workplace challenges.
She earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, a Certificate in Management from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and her B.S. from the University of Cincinnati.
