Veronica Canton (Associate-Chicago, IL) was selected by the United Cybersecurity Alliance as its Cybersecurity or Privacy Woman Law Professional of the Year 2024. This is one of a series of annual awards that are tributes to female cybersecurity and privacy professionals making a difference through work and dedication to a safer digital ecosystem. These barrier-breakers are the role models for the students in the Alliance’s 100 Women in 100 Days Cybersecurity Career Accelerators and all those young women who aspire to one day join the cybersecurity field. Now in its sixth year, the Cybersecurity Woman of the Year Awards were presented at a Gala Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada, on August 5, 2024. Veronica is also the recipient of WOMCY’s Top Woman in Cybersecurity – Americas, 2023.
