Law Clerk MariaJose De La Hoz Receives Diversity Scholarship Foundation’s 2025 Jerold S. Solovy Diversity Scholarship

Barnes & Thornburg’s MariaJose De La Hoz was recently awarded the 2025 Jerold S. Solovy Diversity Scholarship from the Diversity Scholarship Foundation. De La Hoz is a first-year law student at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law with an anticipated graduation date of 2026. She is currently a law clerk in the firm’s Chicago office.

The Diversity Scholarship Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established by a group of attorneys and judges committed to diversifying the Chicago legal community. Awarded annually, the scholarship honors a student who advocates for diversity in the legal community and who actively shines a light on other individuals making a difference through pro bono work.

Presentation of the scholarship took place at the foundation’s annual Unity Award Gala on Jan. 16.
