A former employee has taken legal action against a major parcel delivery company, alleging severe workplace misconduct. Annette Robinson filed a complaint on March 28, 2025, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS), claiming sexual harassment, sex-based discrimination, and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Robinson's allegations detail a troubling work environment at UPS, where she claims to have been subjected to persistent sexual harassment by her supervisor, Daniel. The incidents reportedly began in 2019 when Daniel sent Robinson and another co-worker an explicit photograph. When confronted about this inappropriate behavior, Daniel allegedly dismissed Robinson's concerns with offensive remarks about her daughter. Despite attempts to distance herself from him, Robinson states that Daniel continued his inappropriate conduct with offensive comments towards female co-workers and derogatory remarks about their personal lives. The situation escalated when Robinson reported these issues to management but was met with indifference and further retaliation instead of support.

Robinson asserts that after filing complaints with Human Resources in June 2023 regarding the harassment and discrimination she faced due to her gender and race, she experienced increased scrutiny and punitive measures at work. This included being forced into tasks beyond her physical capabilities despite medical restrictions and being wrongfully accused of safety violations. These actions culminated in her termination on November 21, 2024, which she believes was orchestrated as retaliation for her complaints rather than any legitimate performance issues.

In her lawsuit, Robinson seeks various forms of relief from the court including back pay with interest, compensatory damages for emotional distress, punitive damages for willful misconduct by UPS, and injunctive relief to prevent future occurrences of such behavior within the company. She also requests coverage for attorney fees and any other equitable relief deemed appropriate by the court.

Representing Annette Robinson are attorneys Mohammed O. Badwan and Chad W. Eisenback from Sulaiman Law Group Ltd., based in Lombard, Illinois. The case is filed under Case ID: 3:25-cv-50136 in front of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
