DLA Piper partners Jon King and Jeff Torosian named to Crain’s Chicago Business’s 2025 Notable Litigators & Trial Attorneys list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Jon King and Jeff Torosian have been named to Crain’s Chicago Business’s 2025 list of Notable Litigators & Trial Attorneys, which highlights the attorneys who are “shaping Chicago's legal landscape.”

King, the Co-Chair of DLA Piper’s Global Investigations practice, focuses his practice on white collar crime, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and related issues involving corporate compliance and internal investigations. He has directed and conducted numerous cross-border investigations of FCPA and other anti-corruption and fraud issues in a wide variety of sectors, including energy, industrials and life sciences. Crain’s highlighted King’s successful defense of a client in an alleged bribery case involving foreign officials in South America.

Torosian is the Co-Chair of DLA Piper’s US M&A and Private Equity Litigation practice. He handles cases involving business disputes of nearly every kind in federal and state courts and in numerous arbitration and mediation agencies around the country. He routinely handles disputes involving business transactions, including private equity litigation, M&A disputes, shareholder fights, corporate governance lawsuits and bankruptcy trials. Crain’s noted that he tried five major cases in the past year, including a $300 million cryptocurrency valuation dispute in the FTX bankruptcy.
