Maremont

Brenda Jones filed suit Oct. 28 in the Cook County Circuit Court on Oct. 28 against Nooria Enterprises Inc. over injuries she allegedly sustained at Dunkin' Donuts.

Jones claims that she slipped and fell during a February visit to a Dunkin' Donuts shop operated by Nooria Enterprises at 211 W. Adams St. in Chicago.

In her suit, Jones accuses Dunkin' Donuts of being negligent in maintaining its floors in a safe condition. She claims she fell due to a slippery condition on the floor.

Jones asserts she suffered scarring to her knee and claims that she has incurred a loss of normal life.

She is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is represented by Chicago attorney James K. Maremont.
