Confab business partner sues to force dissolution

Buck

Richard Davidovich filed suit Nov. 4 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Daniel Rice, Michael Connor and Confab Systems Inc.

Represented by Joliet attorney Carl R. Buck, Davidovich asserts in his suit that he is suing his business partners in an attempt to force Confab Systems into dissolution because he is unhappy with the way it is being operated.

Davidovich claims he is the president and is in charge of engineering at Confab. Rice and Connor, along with Davidovich, each own 33 percent of Confab, which is at located 14831 S. McKinley Ave. in the Cook County village of Posen.

In his complaint, Davidovich accuses Rice of numerous improprieties relating to Confab. Among others, the suit claims Rice charged things to Confab that were not bought, increased his salary without Davidovich's approval, but with Connor's approval, and failed to adhere to company policies.

Davidovich contends Rice and Connor violated the fiduciary duty business partners owe each other, and is seeking to push Confab into dissolution, as well as an undisclosed amount in damages.
