Lorig Construction Co. faces suit after worker is injured

Berman

A construction worker is suing over claims he was injured while working at a construction site.

Ronald J. Campagna filed a lawsuit Dec. 9 in the Cook County Circuit Court against the Lorig Construction Co., citing construction negligence, premise liability and direct negligence.

Campagna says on May 30, 2012, he was employed by Gateway and was working at the defendant's construction site at Interstate 294 and Interstate 90 ramp in Chicago. The plaintiff claims he was installing material for rebar construction when he slipped, tripped and fell, sustaining serious injury.

The plaintiff contends the defendant's negligence was a direct and proximate cause of the incident.

Campagna is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional minimum. He is being represented in the case by attorney Steven A. Berman of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen Ltd.
