A man is suing, claiming he sustained injuries while he was on a bus that collided with a vehicle.
Timothy M. Waller filed a lawsuit Dec. 6 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Chicago Transit Authority, citing negligence and negligent spoliation of evidence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was on CTA bus traveling south on Michigan Avenue near 100th Street in Chicago on Dec. 8, 2012, when the bus collided with a motor vehicle.
Waller asserts he sustained injuries as a result of the collision. He claims the defendant failed to notify the police in order for an accident form to be completed, failed to provide information to him and provided false information to him.
Waller is seeking $200,000 in damages, plus costs. He is being represented in the case by Jenel Cotton.
