Woman sues Dollar General over slip and fall incident

Doherty

A Cook County woman is suing over claims she sustained injuries as a result of an unsafe walkway in a Chicago store.

Engracia Molina filed a lawsuit Jan. 23 in the Cook County District Court against DG Retail LLC, citing negligence.

Molina claims that on June 24, she suffered injuries when she slipped and fell down in a grocery store aisle at the defendant's Dollar General store at 527 W. Armitage Ave. in Chicago.

According to the suit, there was an accumulation of liquid on the ground in the aisle that Molina slipped on, causing her to fall and sustain injuries.

Molina is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Chicago attorney Brion W. Doherty of Stotis & Baird.
