John Barleycorn owners named in slip and fall suit

A woman is suing over claims she was injured after falling on a slippery floor at John Barleycorn in Chicago.

Priscilla Picchi filed a lawsuit Feb. 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against John B. Inc., 3524 N. Clark LLC and JB at Clark Inc., citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, Picchi was on the premises known as John Barleycorn at 3524 N. Clark St. in Chicago, which is owned by John B. Inc. and JB at Clark Inc., on April 5, 2012, when she fell on the slippery floor and was injured.

Picchi is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Willard L. Hemsworth III of Rathbun, Cservenyak & Kozol LLC.
