A woman is suing a grocery store chain over allegations one of its employees caused her to collide with a pallet at its Naperville location.
Bessie Mavronas filed a lawsuit May 1 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Caputo's New Farm Produce Inc., doing business as Angelo Caputo's Fresh Markets, and Caputo's New Farm Produce-Naperville Inc., citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Mavronas was at the Caputo's on 111th Street in Naperville on June 29, 2012, when an employee of the store caused a pallet to collide with her, which resulted in injuries. She accuses the defendants of failing to properly train and supervise their employees.
Mavronas is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by Chicago attorney James J. Gay.
