A woman is suing over claims she sustained injuries after falling in a parking lot near DePaul University.
Herica Herrera-Cisneros filed a lawsuit May 27 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Park One Inc., DePaul University and the City of Chicago, alleging negligence.
According to the suit, the plaintiff tripped and fell on a defect in the ground JUne 18 at 328 S. Wabash Ave. in Chicago. She claims the defendants failed to properly care for the ground on their property, causing her to become injured.
Herrera-Cisneros is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is being represented in the case by attorneys at Maurice E. Dusky P.C.
