Teeth1

A man is suing a Morton Grove dentist who he claims extracted a tooth without his consent.

Su Myung Park filed a medical malpractice lawsuit June 13 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Dr. Kwang Soo Steve Kim and Dr. Kwang Soo Steve Kim's Dental Clinic P.C.

According to the complaint, Park underwent dental treatment from Kim at his clinic on Dempster Street in Morton Grove from 2005 until Jan. 16, 2013, until he learned of the negligent treatment he received, including poorly placed implants and having a tooth extracted without his consent.

Park alleges Kim's negligence resulted in pain, a tilted plane of occlusion and poor dental function.

He is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Kent M. Lucaccioni of Kent M. Lucaccioni Ltd. in Chicago.
