A man is suing over claims he fell from a ladder while doing repair work in Oak Brook.
William Fergus filed a lawsuit June 26 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Intercontinental Real Estate & Development, alleging premises liability.
According to the complaint, Fergus was repairing the defendant's premises on Camden Court in Oak Brook on Jan. 31, 2013, when he fell from a ladder. He claims the defendant failed to provide a proper, safe scaffold for him to do his work.
Fregus is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorneys at Costello, McMahon, Burke & Murphy Ltd. in Chicago.
