A woman is suing a Wheeling-based landscaping company, claiming its negligence resulted in her daughter's foot getting run over by a lawnmower.
Malgorzata Jackowska, as mother and next friend of her minor daughter, filed a lawsuit July 11 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Fleck's Landscaping Inc. and Rodrigo Rodriguez, alleging negligence.
According to the suit, Jackowska's 11-year-old daughter was riding her bike on East Kensington Road in Mount Prospect on June 10, when she was struck by Rodriguez, a Fleck's Landscaping employee who was driving a riding-motorized lawnmower.
Jackowska claims after her daughter was knocked off her bike, her foot was run over by the defendants' lawnmower.
She is seeking damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Rene A. Torrado Jr. of Corboy & Demetrio P.C. in Chicago.
