A man is suing the city, claiming he was injured when one of its employees opened a car door into him while he was riding his bicycle.
Gabriel Pablo filed a lawsuit July 10 in the Cook County Circuit Court against the City of Chicago and Harry Sanders, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, Pablo was riding his bike on 16th Street in Chicago on July 24, 2013, when Sanders opened the door of a vehicle owned by the city and struck him.
Pablo is seeking more than $30,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by the Law Offices of Eric H. Check in Chicago.
